I encourage you to reply, but not more than once a day, with a interesting new fact. Let’s stretch this out instead of dumping all the interesting facts out all at once. (Btw feel free to comment on the interesting facts as much and as often as you want)
edit: posting a source for your fact is strongly encouraged.
Another fact from a Snapple bottle drinks lid: There are more chickens than people in the world. [However, if KFC keeps expanding, that fact may need to be deleted.]
Well I think gravity takes over in general, it’s when humidity goes up, that when it gets.. interesting..
Interesting fact - not long after dying a person's eyeballs flatten because the blood pressure drops.
Future career as a teacher in the works. ;)
By definition Shard, we can't miss a meteorite!
How about a forbidden fact?
Cannabis oil made as directed by Rick Simpson, has amazing tumour destroying properties.
In the limited testing I've managed personally, in 2011 it worked superbly on growing tumours and young warts, but on old and stable warts and growths it does not seem so efficacious.
Sadly, the only research being done is by amateurs, and our methodology sucks, plus it's illegal, so there isn't much hard academically sound information yet, but it definitely needs to be done, based on my own personal experience.
I did not expect it to work especially after watching the video as it challenged my worldview, but I prefer "testing" to "believing", and the "testing" was very eye opening indeed..
That link now gives a 404 error.
Can anyone provide a precis, or perhaps key words so I can websearch it?
I haven't consumed any news in 187 days so i'm not sure....
Didn’t one just miss us today?

I enjoy interesting facts. In the USA, bottles of Snapple cold drinks had fun facts on the inside of the lids. One was that there are 17 countries in the world that do not have a single river. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough space in the lid to list all 17 countries!
That's hilarious! I enjoy Drag Race so much.
"Ancient Tibetan bowls were made from meteorites, Tibet being the highest land on earth where many landed not only in great quantities but also well preserved due to less air resistance during the atmospheric entry"

I just googled meteorite on my laptop and one flies diagonally across the screen....pretty cool
Nightingale?
I've been struggling with this for three days now. I know lots of trivia, but nothing comes to mind when asked to "say something interesting." It's like being asked to "say something funny." If something does come to mind, I worry it's not interesting to other people, or just me talking about a special interest, or I wonder if it's completely accurate, which threatens to send me off on an endless chase through books or internet searches, or if I'll end up just unconsciously repeating ideas off QI (which I don't even watch regularly).
I feel like my obituary is going to read "He died as a result of a freak accident involving an exploding cucumber."
To write on your CV that you were with a company for exactly one year is a bad thing, because it tells the employer that you trained for 3 months plus the 9 months it takes to fire someone who underperforms, it actually indicates that you’re a nightmare to get rid of..
Good old Florrie
There's no such thing as" too highbrow" if you ask me.
Sorry, it was getting too highbrow again.
Ah ok. Politics is not for me.....never has been, never will be
