Ecballium elaterium is a cucumber that explodes. It does this to spread seeds long distances
I grew one of these plants when i lived in Lincoln. When i was sat in the garden having a drink i would hear a pop and then hear the seeds raining down. Nature is cool
I feel like my obituary is going to read "He died as a result of a freak accident involving an exploding cucumber."
