What are you wearing right now?

Just for fun but maybe we could learn a little about each other from this.

I'm in my PJs and will remain in them as long I feel is acceptable during the daytime.

I'd happily live my life in my PJs.

I'd never have to think about what to wear if I were able to.

  • One of (for me) life's rarest events has just occured: I have now incorporated a 'new' shirt (label says green, which I normally wouldn't wear, but it looks like warm grey to me and one other person described it thus too, so that's OK) into my rotation of a core three or four. Usually it takes one or more to be falling apart at the seams (always kept clean, just entropy taking its toll) and then I reluctantly bring in a stranger in the hope that they will not take too long to become a dependable and comfortable friend.

The 'new' is in inverted commas because I found it at the back of the wardrobe, purchased (presumably pre-Covid) but never worn. I've had this happen several times before - the forgotten purchase that seemed OK in the shop dressing room but once brought home something about it looked weird or likely to invite comment. past instances: cuffs are too low, collar is an odd shape, 'this would be OK if they hadn't put that weird paisley strip inside the collar, why didn't I see that in the store?', it's too long to be worn out as (I think?) it was intended to, and so on.

Anyway, I think this one was a victim of that last one, and I lost my bottle. But I've decided it's time to become an occasiopnal tucker-inner again, so that's solved that. I prefer that look anyway, and I realised in recent days, courtesy of a grim team photo that was taken for work, where I just look like a mutant blob, that wearing my shirt out disguises nothing anyway (my autistic stare factor in that photo is a 10/10 too, nice). So, back to a more dignified silhouette - and, if I can manage it, the losing of a few pounds in weight too...
