I once had an injury and went to a private hospital and it was comfortable and caring.
I feel more comfortable in private as I get melt downs if in a stressful area.
A lot of people who are autistic will be fine on public hospitals. We are all different.
I wonder if anyone is on private health insurance and how much it is per month?
thank you
Private health insurance can provide more tailored care and comfort for those who need it. If you're considering private health insurance, the cost can vary widely depending on factors like your location, coverage level, and individual health needs.
thank you Luna. I like your name choice
I'm so sorry you're feeling nervous - be sure to check the reviews of each one and make sure there's lots of positive 5 star reviews ^^
Good luck Ladybird. I hope you can find the right one for you x
thank you. I am nervous as it is all online and am scared that I pick something that is a con so I need to be careful and do research
I'm glad you found it to be comfortable for you :)
What with my health lately I've been tempted to go private but I just cannot afford it sadly. I do ok in NHS hospitals but they're very loud and busy and so far I've had meltdowns and anxiety attacks either during my time there or shortly after.
I hope you can go private and it works out for you xx
yes NHS is vital I hope it gets more funding.
Glad you’re well, long May it continue
thanks yes it does take pressure off. Just that I feel that you get more tailored care. I am well and fit and might never need it.
I recently got finally properly diagnosed with asthma that way and prescribed proper inhalers of the right strength. Any treatments up to £1800 for any individual ailment are covered by the monthly payment. And yes, some of those private clinics are more serene to go into. But thank god for the NHS too
I’m in a scheme called Benenden which is I think private health insurance of a sort. You pay in around thirty a month I think (I’m really bad at keeping track of prices but I ghonk it’s about that at basic level) and then you can ask your GP to get you ok’d for things like hospital visits, tests, etc. via a private clinic, and it takes pressure off the NHS waiting lists by helping someone else get a slot faster.
