Hi All

I'm currently on long term sick leave from work

Tomorrow I've been called in for a meeting

I'm going to discuss my mental health disabilities and autism

Has anyone else done this and what if any support did your employer offer

Hard one. Depends how enlightened your employer is. My boss was great. When MH services let me down, he got it. But then he's spent a career teaching kids on the spectrum.

Have you a good OH department and union to support you? They could be your best allies if your line management doesn't get it.

My boss adapted to the way I work, let me work from home and let me know I was valued.

No it's only a small company. No HR or OH staff. Not in a union as employer doesn't recognise one
