I’m just finishing my 23rd coffee of the day and just wondered what hot drink other people prefer?
Are you a coffee drinker or do you prefer tea
or perhaps you like herbal tea or hot chocolate
or something else? ( hot Ribena ! )
do u drink decaffeinated or the real McCoy
How do you take your tea/coffee/other,,,,,,,,,,, with sugar, chocolate, a mouthful of imperial mints !!
builders tea what is it ?
Are they not toxic?
does anyone else in your family eg mum dad siblings, have the same issue ?
something must have happened to u when u where very young eg 3 - 4 years old eg u tripped and fell with a cup of coffee so that the smell of coffee was imprinted into your mind as really really bad and thus u are fearful of coffee
this is just a suggestion. ask your parents if there was an accident with coffee when u where very young.
I know this sounds stupid but I have a big fear of coffee. I don’t know what it is really that started it but the smell of it just makes me want to run away. I’m now 18 and and I have had this since I was a little girl. I know that smell can be important to someone with autism as it reminds them of things and memories
yea thats it --- but i mean it is a blend of either india or china tea. What is the Yorkshire bit ? ......... like u say its probably just company name
maybe they add some Yorkshire soil
LOL. I even buy Natural Essential Bergamot oil & add to a mist.
of course the more important question is: Was it Twinnings???
I hate Earl Grey tea.
When I first went to college my landlady was a big Earl Grey tea fan, every breakfast and dinner it was Earl Grey, I disliked it from the very first taste, and I still hate it.
Can't beat a hot Vimto.
Hot tea is used in hot countries to raise the body temperature enough to make you sweat and so cool down. Just below sweating temperature is the most uncomfortable. I think I'll make myself a strong black decaff tea...
I have a mug of weak tea in the morning and water for the rest of the day
this is why the British drank hot tea in India. It cooled them down slightly apparently.
bit uncomfortable though, im even stopping my daily weight lifting due to this heat, sweating without working out as it is in this weather.
very sophisticated tastes
Coke and Pepsi were used in India as cost-effective pesticides.
I LOVE really well roasted coffee. When I first moved to England in 95 it was only Monmouth in London. Now there are so many amazing coffee roasters from Akinsons to Skye Roasters. So, I make a V60 in the morning and then it's mostly Tetley's Earl Grey the rest of the day. Although M&S Extra Strong? Yes please! I have to forcefully limit myself.
It is a very sensory-enjoyable experience. If they could dilute the caffine but keep all the flavour, I'd opt. A bit like all these amazing Gins on the market. Such a great explosion of taste but sadly I cannot drink the alcohol much.
Tea, Coffee and Red Bull are all the same to me.
I NEED CAFFEINE TO FUNCTION!

You'll sweat it out more. The body is not bothered according to this study.
Here's another study suggesting: "Following the ingestion of the warm drink, overall body heat storage was actually lower" https://theconversation.com/does-drinking-hot-tea-in-summer-really-cool-you-down-62854
I don't drink much in the way of fizzy 'pop', but when I do, I do not want it to taste of artificial sweeteners, they are all disgusting, with metallic aftertastes. Now I'm forced into the 'botanically brewed' end of pop, which is expensive even without the sugar tax.
i really like chamomile tea . Not peppermint even thought i have it growning in my garden. My partner drinks away at it.
Any fizzy I buy is drunk by my kids in seconds.
All the non sweetener fizzy has risen in price quite a bit recently so we are buying it less which is the aim I guess
i found that caffeinated / decaffeinated coffee or tea made no difference to me either. So I buy the decaffeinated when its reduced but otherwise I now am reverting to all caffeinated because its easier to get and a lot cheaper.
