The sound of rain- I get headaches every time, sometimes dogs barking- depends on the volume, scraping of a plate with cutlery, the phone ringing, people having a loud conversation in the street. They’re the ones I can think of right now
i am totally surprised at the sound of rain giving you a headache -- i use rain sounds to calm me down ( likewise i use white noise , pink noise , brown noise ) .
i do believe u, that it annoys u. It just shows how we vary between good and bad sounds
Maybes it because I associate rain with nature , life ( because its water ). My childhood I grew up in a place where it rained alot we were always getting soaked but we were always happy.
I love rain and often deliberately go for walks in all types of rain.
Rain is my absolute favourite thing. My happiest, most vivid, childhood memories are of laying by the open front door with the heavy carpet doormat draped on top of me and watching the rain in a storm. The patterns of the droplets, the sound of the rain, the smell of a rain storm... It was all amazing. Looking back, I must have driven my parents mad for letting all the heat out the house though!
