Can anyone recommend anything for keeping concentration when trying to study?
A good schedule can help you perform better while studying. A good amount of sleep, plus frequent small breaks, can help you maximize your brain functions. Small glucose snacks can also help you. Moreover, you can push your brain even harder by using products like nootropics. They will make you more focused and will help you think more quickly. You can read lots of supplement reviews on brainreference.com. I used nootropics while preparing for an exam. And truth be told, they helped me a lot.
amazing
Thanks for the suggestion!
I get too emotional with music; therefore I wish that no music was played while I work.
CBD Oil....
Thanks for mentioning that playlist, I'm going to give that a try myself!
I struggle to concentrate working from home (I think it's too quiet?) but music in the background doesn't always help like it did when I was in the office and couldn't concentrate. At the moment I have a playlist made up of songs that don't have English words, but even then they are sometimes still too distracting.
likewise
i wish i were traveling... now...! oh well.... happy new year, btw!
I do that! You know, I assumed that being able to listen to music whilst working through on my art work meant I didn't have ASC but perhaps I was wrong.
I must have read the tense work ....that u where actually doing the trip now .... sorry I have to laugh at myself LOL...... u could pretend to keep us entertained LOL
hi aidie... not sure... maybe when i was talking about travelling around in a camper van? that's the only trip i can think of....
where are r u now in USA ? u did start your trip ami mixing u with someone else ? LOL,,, are there 2 raspberrypies LMAO ?
np!
Thank you!
yes thats how I do my work
i used to study whenever i felt like i could concentrate. 4am? sure. noon? fine. 5am? ok. if i couldn't really concentrate, it didn't seem to help to fight it. but i had a very flexible and open schedule, so i could play with creative use of my unorthodox schedule. also, avoid sugar, be healthy, get exercise, get sleep. so i did everything, but the main variable for me: time of day.
That’s good!
My Employment Support Team will contact my new employers; Re. My need for frequent breaks.
Thank you for this! I find time management tricky and often forget to take breaks when working so I’ll try the app
I have a set playlist that I study to, I get too distracted with my 'regular' music so I use the playlist 'coffee beats' on Spotify, it's upbeat which helps me stay motivated, but has no lyrics so that it's not too distracting. I've also found regular breaks and rewards help me concentrate. Sometimes I study for 25 mins then have a break for 5 mins, rewarding myself with time on my phone or a snack. Other times I'll set myself study goals, for example, work through Unit 4 parts 5 and 6 and then I get a reward.
There's an app called 'forest' which allows you to set timers, you grow a plant in the timer and plant it in your forest, if going on your phone is an issue whilst trying to concentrate then there's an option where it will kill the plant if you leave the app, which helps for hardcore study sessions for me.
I'm also looking into getting some stim/fidget toys for when I'm watching videos and stuff which I think will help me.
