Agoraphobia

I have been agoraphobic since I was around 12/13 and it has gotten worse over the years, I was just curious if there’s at all a connection with asd and agoraphobia. My support have said they think the sensory side of things made it difficult for me and then caused the agoraphobia, however I’m unsure. So was just curious if anyone else had any experiences with this.

  • Well I was in a bigger place for 2 years prior to living here, which was hell. It was a 16 bedroom place with people with complex needs with mental health, wasn’t asd friendly at all with the lighting and noises and just everything. But now live in a house where there’s 4 of us and it’s so much nicer.
