Agoraphobia

I have been agoraphobic since I was around 12/13 and it has gotten worse over the years, I was just curious if there’s at all a connection with asd and agoraphobia. My support have said they think the sensory side of things made it difficult for me and then caused the agoraphobia, however I’m unsure. So was just curious if anyone else had any experiences with this.

  • Yeah, I’ve managed to walk to the end of the road (doesn’t sound like much but to me it’s huge) and get in the car. I can manage to go home  to my mums every now and then in the car so that’s nice. But they put me on risperidone for the asd stuff, since then it’s gotten a tiny bit better.
