Liverpool and Wirral adult autism support/social group

Hi everyone,

Sorry, I haven't been on this forum in ages because I've just been sooo busy argh.

Last year I posted on here that I had set up Merseyside Autistic Adults, a group for autistic/Asperger's adults to meet up, chat and share advice with each other. We've been having meetings in Birkenhead, Wirral since December 2018 and we've just added a new Liverpool meeting too (see image for our meeting dates/times). These are free, drop-in meetings available to anyone over 16 and either officially diagnosed, on the waiting list or just suspects they may be autistic. We also arrange trips out to a different location once a month.

I say 'we' but it's just me who runs it (some of the group attendees have been really helpful though). I received an autism diagnosis last year and set this up because there wasn't much help out there.
