I'm watching The Big Bang Theory and it got me thinking of asking you all. Which TV characters do you relate to and think may be autistic?
I think Sheldon and Amy in Big Bang
Star Trek Voyager Seven of Nine
Any others?

As posted on the other thread:-
Just binge watching Tin Star season 1. Constable McGillen has to be because of how literally he takes things and responds.
Plus not sure about Ducky from NCIS - going off on tangents at the forensic/autopsy sites as well as Abby (fixations and anxiety) - Discuss.
Dora the Explorer - extensive knowledge in strange specialist subject, not understanding social cues, inappropriate language and communication, gets on better with animals, no close human friends.
Not a TV programme, but has anyone here read the book 'Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine'? I wondered if Eleanor Oliphant might be on the spectrum, though my newly diagnosed stepdaughter has read it too and it annoyed her, she said nobody spoke like that. I'm inclined to agree a little bit, but I enjoyed the book all the same, although it was extremely sad at times.
Spin off from conversation : I was watching The Big Bang Theory today and Alex was apparently flirting with Leonard, I didnt see that, I just saw her as talking to him. (Penny and Amy picked up on it) I get frustrated as I have this in real life too
Superman - overblown sense of right & wrong and incapable of forming relationships with women?
I LOVE both of them as characters, like amazing ASD role-models!
We had quite a long thread on this about a year ago.
Pretty much everyone who has been mentioned here was there!
I'll give that thread a bump for anyone that wants to look or add.
I'm watching "Perception"- the lead character is diagnosed schizophrenic, but also has many autistic traits around routine, sensory issues etc
