Today I've been relaxing by playing music I listened to in the past (my youth!)
Here's one such song (Supertramp: Logical Song) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ukKQw578Lm8
Do reply with a song you liked listening to... we can turn this thread into a virtual jukebox!
Dave Gilmour looks much older than the 69 he is here, but the music is still timeless....
High Hopes live
This song by Nellie McKay is dedicated to Martian Tomwho has escaped a tyrannical work place and found himself a wonderful new job.

Farewell Tom, hope we see you here again some time.
I live in a coal mining area (I was about to say former but there is a new drift mine just up the road).
Here is an interesting article about the Flying Pickets' 'Only You' which contains a video of the song.
I am disappointed to discover I have something else in common with Margaret Thatcher (we already share a diagnosis of Dupuytren's Disease). It seems she liked this song: www.bbc.co.uk/.../uk-wales-46345443
Here's another track I found by chance - a non traditional Christmas song by Nellie McKay - love the fact it's called a dirge! m.youtube.com/watch
Hi Sunflowernice choices never heard any of the artists before really enjoyed them
Continuing the Winter Solstice theme here are three other songs. The middle one is by Mary Chapin Carpenter - a singer songwriter I always forget I like until i stumble across one of her songs again. The first and last tracks are completely new to me, but I really like the upbeat tempo and hearing traditional instruments played well:

I've never seen that video,or heard that sing before - incredibly poignant and beautiful - thank you Hippy65

This is getting a bit unwieldy and difficult to follow on a phone so I apologise for not putting my link in the relevant section of the thread...
A beautiful theremin and musical saw duet!
Not at all @Ozu great track
Hi, hope you don't mind me adding a track. One of my favourites by Talking Heads with brilliantly inventive frontman and Aspie, David Byrne.

I have that Travelling Wilburys tune as an earworm now. The bit where Roy Orbison comes in is playing over and over.
I think he hit his stride when he stopped trying so hard - The tour with Nine Inch Nails was AWESOME!!!!
Cars - done with the welly it always needed.
