My 8 year old recently was diagnosed with Aspergers. We found that he thought we knew things. Have you tried social stories to explain that you don't know everything and he can tell you. Does he know about his diagnosis?
You could try PECs and social stories if you haven't already. It may be that he needs to see it in front of him as an explanation rather than have it told to him. Maybe he doesn't process verbal information that well.
Thank you for your reply. I do worry that he might get an hostile reaction 1 day. I did have a meeting with the Senco in school and she will write a social story. I was wondering if it was a sensory need too?
