10 year old daughter with extreme anger HELP

Hi all

does anyone have any advice/help or tips on how we can deal with our 10 year old daughter and her anger??

the smallest things are making her explode in rage and she won’t talk about it after so I can’t even find out what the root cause of it could be.

thank you

  • She may be feeling overwhelmed. At that age there can be a lot of stimulation and pressure all at once — changes in school expectations, learning new things at a faster pace, social dynamics, and trying to fit in.

Sometimes anger shows up when a child doesn’t yet have the words for what they’re feeling. Possible factors could include sensory overload, social or friendship difficulties, bullying, or influences from social media, technology, or TV.

It might help to reduce demands where possible, keep routines predictable, and focus on helping her feel safe and understood rather than pushing her to explain straight away.
