Newly diagnosed adult woman with ASD.
What tips would you give to me please for day to day getting by for living life fully and keeping my nervous system regulated?
I’m described as ‘low needs’ but have suffered unknowingly my whole life.
Any advice for what regulates you or has helped in real terms with day to day life would be great. Thanks.
try to find an artistic outlet that you enjoy,writing,drawing,dancing,anything...
Remember, at those times when things get hard, it will pass. I remind myself it is what it is now, and it will pass. Stay away from those that overwhelm you. X
Be your own Best Friend.Look after yourself.Don't put undue pressure on yourself.Take each Day as you find it and DONT think ahead.Enjoy the journey.
This might sound trivial but noise cancelling headphones and Loop earplugs while at work or out and about instantly lowered my anxiety and confusion levels.
