Hi everyone,

My name is Kate. I am 36 years old and I got my diagnosis today. I actually feel so relived. I have struggled all my life and now I know why. 

Does anyone have experience with working from home? I have my own business but because of burnout etc I cannot afford to pay bills recently. Does anyone know where I can get extra support with this please? Being self employed is the best thing for me as I cannot hold onto a regular job and past jobs have made me unwell.

  • Congrats on your diagnosis, I’m self employed and have had a lot of time away from work over the last year during a massive burnout. Luckily my wife works full time so we muddled through. We are selling our house and downsizing, I’ve managed to get back to work now working shorter days, 3-4 days a week. There unfortunately isn’t a lot of state help.
