my daughter cant cope in mainstream school

Hi all,

I am new to this forum so hello.

My daughter is 5 and has complex needs she is autistic,dyspraxic,with a learning difficulty and speech and language problems ,she has been to 3 schools since she was for as the schools wouldnt except anything was wrong and she was being badly bullied and neglected also upset,bed wetting,aggressive.She is currently in a school where they have agreed to statementing and working with us which was another fight,she has been there since december and is in a class of 30 with a 1to1 who dosnt understand special needs at all.

My problem is whilst waiting for the statement she is not coping and is getting worse,she is extremley hypersensitive and hates crowds,noises,children crying,screaming,lights,no structure,smells,assemblys eating lunch in the dinner hall and finds the whole day frightening,she withdraws into herself and dosnt eat ,talking very little and is in a constant state of panic and anxiety.When she gets home she is aggresive,hyper and very stressed,she never wants to go to school and wets the be at night .I hate her having to go to this school as it is not right for her at all,I have found her  a brilliant school but she needs the statement to get in.Do I really have to put her through this stress I am so worried what this is going to do to her .

    I'm completly new to this site and internet chat rooms in general, but becoming increasingly desparate regarding my 8 year old son's education & was hoping there may be other parents out there who have over come similar problems. My son has ADHD & Asperger's, currently in  mainstream with 1-1 help. We have just received the final statement which has stated his current school as  placement and basically lists everything that is curently in place as actions. There is nothing new. He is now completley reliant on his 1-1 (cannot even go to the loo on his own), and still cannot read or write as he is so stressed because of the classroom noise. On top of this he is targeting his younger brother at playtime causing him to be unhappy at school. I could go on, however, my main point is i am appealling against the placement in a bid to get a place in a local Independent school speacialising in Aspergers. It appears to me to be the only school locally which meets all his needs. I am in touch with my local Parent Partnership, but if any of you guys have any personal experience of something similar, please share!
