Hi Everyone
My name is Claudette and i am new to this forum .
I am mum to three lovely children ,my oldest a boy of 17 has a diagnosis of
autism ,adhd ,and tourettes ,he was diagnosed with autisim aged 4yrs ,
followed by adhd and tourettes later on .
Currently my son is still attending his former senior school but should now be in post
16 provision .
I have been looking for a holistic/theraputic residential school for over a year now.
Under the guidance of my sons phyciatrist at Camhs and as his parent this is the best option for him to be able to achieve his goals and to gain independence.He will be home at weekends and school holidays.
However this is proving to be diffilcult so i am welcome to any feed back and suggestions to any residentials schools that caters for a young person with high functioning autisim and to hear if any one shares this expierence and what they did or felt.
