My 6 year old son is weeing on the floor everyday

Help! My son who has HFA has been weeing on the floor for months now.

He can go to the toliet and doesnt seem bothered about it but everyday is is going on the carpet. There is no 'normal' time of day or place in the room its random.

When i ask him about it he says his body tells him to.

I have no idea how to tackle it. We have tried reward charts, consant asking, positive reassurance, visual aids.

The, "it's part of their condition," excuse for not investigating properly, is not good enough. Could you catch a wee sample and drop it into the surgery for dip testing to rule out a UTI?

Have you tried natural consequences, making him clear it up, with minimum attention from you, as you supervise.

hi
everytime we are our doctor I get hold 'oh his autistic' - like it's an excuse. he has been toliet trained 4 years before it started but he now does it at least 5 times a day

Hi,
have you ruled out a physical/ health reason just to be sure?
How old is your son and how long was he successfully not having "camping wees," before this started?
