i went on youtube to try and get help and advise i typed in autistic son, i was shocked and horrifide to see the comments made by people, about autistic kids, this really upset me and i was crying, to think theirs people out their calling names about these kids, these kids are or future, it really makes me wonder what the future holds for my son, as its really concerning, it needs to be reported, has you dont expect things like that to come up, one lady was upset about the comments she was getting about her son, my heart went out to these people, as i wouldent like it if it was my son, youtube does need to notified about this ,

it shouldent be happerning at all for nags, its a real joke, for people to put comments about autistic children and adults, whats the persons name, very right it shouldent be happerning, if you give me the details i will report it,

Ok I went and looked at the Facebook page and well it was not as bad as I thought but still the page was created because the creator was fed up with all the pages giveing autism a good name the page says it's just for nags though I don't believe that for a start I still wonder how we are ment to cope with life sometimes with all the problems in the world The Major

i dont know why are people with austum are just hated i went and typed into google "why are austic people hated" and found a facebook page i havent looked at it but the title just got me mad tell me what you think I HATE ASUTUM TODAY! i will have a look tonight when i have time just google what i searched

what are they sceared of the autisum or the person? to me no one is perfect in this world, what gives these people the rights to make judgment, on gods creations, i couldent ask for a more lovling son, he will hug me and kiss me, in my eyes you are all idels, what you have to go through to get through the day, to here people make nasty un called for comments they should be so ashamed of them selfs, no one asked to be made the way they are no one chose to be autistic, if people take notice more what autium is about then i think they would be more helpful, and realise how hard it is, i wouldent change my son in any way at all, i no its very hard at times, hes my son, and i love him the way he is, god forbid if any one makes any comments about my son, i will be jumping down their necks, not just for my son, for all the people and children who have autisum,

why is it that the moment that you tell someone your austic or you have kids that are austic they hate you i am sickend by what is allowed to be said on the internet about austic people
why must the austic be hated when we have done nothing wrong?

Its not just you Tube and internet which is bad.
We had new neighbours move in next door to us and as son as i told them my boys were autistic they turned nasty on us.calling us.
i was so upset ,as i try to be friends with everyone,but some people are so nasty it still upsets me.what is this world comming to?
Our kids are wonderfull and no problem to anyone.

We are really sorry to hear that there are comments on You Tube generally that are distressing. It is always hard to search for information on You Tube and come across negative comments.

The best way to to handle this would be to report any responses that you see to You Tube them selves and if you feel you need to discuss this further you can call our Parent to Parent line http://www.autism.org.uk/our-services/advice-and-information-services/parent-to-parent-service.aspx to see if there is any thing else they can suggest and to share your worries.

Just thought that you would want to know that there is alot of malicious content on the internet generally, so try not to engage with it as this can antagonise them.

In the meantime the NAS have been looking into planning a campaign about hate crime and these comments on You Tube are a prime example of how our campaigning could help.

it should be brought to their attention, i might even ring the autistic socity up, and speak to some one , they should be able to do something, i no that you can report comments on youtube, but the amount of offencive comments its so upsetting and very angry to read,

i totally agree with you thats why i posted this, to make people aware of this, its so upsetting to see, im hoping that autistic socity will do something about it, it should be brought to their attention, their are a lot of very crule people out their, my son was diagnoised last year im just coming to terms,
