Hi everyone!.....this is my first time doing this!....I'm a mum of 3 teenagers, one which is autistic,just wanted to say hi and hopefully not feel so alone

  • I just found out recently that in our area the sensory team is seperate from the autism spectrum condition team, so at my son's upcoming asc assesment, they won't go into sensory things at all! Helpful paedatrician has just referred him to the sensory team (so back to the bottom of a list then). So, my point is that it might be worth checking who deals with sensory issues locally and trying to get GP to refer you to them. Good luck.
