Potty Training 3yr old

Hi, my son is almost 3, he has just begun the diagnosis process. I left potty training him till quite late as i didnt think he was ready. But low and behold he got it straight away-dry night and day within a week! Sounds good till i mention that he wont poo!!! He has a few times pood on the potty and been praised for doing so but recently he is just pooing in his underwear-seamingly unaware he is doing it. HELP!!! He doesnt do it all in one go either but over a whole day sometimes-this is really becoming a problem-any ideas??? X

  • schedules/visuals can work well,however while having a wee on the loo may be got early,poop is differant,sometimes we are just not ready to poo on the loo,sometimes it may be sensory i.e the echo in the bathroom,the splash of the water etc

    to him poo will not be seen as something bad

    visual schedules may help especially if his poos are pridictable
