Has anyone succesfully applied for an Ehcp?

Has anyone successfully applied for an Ehcp for a child with High functioning autism and sensory processing disorder & hypercussis? I have been told we wont get one, so I was wondering if anyone had?

  • Hi, this probably isn't what you want to hear but my son has severe autism with severe learning difficulties and we got it no problem And he now goes to a special needs school for severe learning difficulties at age 4. However I know people who have high functioning and mild autism and they have had to fight for there's. You can take it to a tribunal if you feel your son needs it. I say fight for what you feel your Child needs!
