I have been searching the web but can not find the answer to this question....
First question....
If statement says it is funding a certain number of hours - how much money does this equate to?
Am I correct that the first £6000 must come from the school's own funds? And I think I was once told that in our area this is 18hrs per week.
So can I assume therefore that each extra hour in the statement attracts - £6000 divided by 18 ie £333?
So a child with full time support would receive an extra £5000 ish per year? £11,000 in total does not seem like enough money to me to pay for a TA.....am I correct??
Next question.......when we change over to EHC - is the support now in money not hours terms........can we really have control over how the money is spent?
