ASD children in BESD special schools

My son is really struggling in his first term in a BESD special school (year7). Does anyone know of any research or evidence to demonstrate whether this is or is not an appropriate setting for Aspergers children? Thanks

No he is really struggling with his behaviour and becoming increasingly aggressive snd abusive at home and at school.
