  • Oh crikey! I can imagine how darn frustrated you must be feeling! Just had a difficult time myself at the school this morning. They have left things a bit late in the day for you to be able to do much about it at the change over time.

I don't know what to suggest other than go and speak to the SENCO asap and if you can try and arrange a meeting with the SENCO's from both schools.I am sure the others on here have much more experience than me in this and you may want to hear what they have to say. My goodness aren't they stating the obvious here! Stating it but not acting on it...grrrr.

If it's any consolation I just had a similar experience. After all my soul searching and visiting the school with my concerns all this year..I have been asked yet again..to just sit tight and wait and see. I am sure DS teacher has grasped what I am saying but the Head now wants to see if my son will be OK over the Summer Hols..then he can see if it all flares up again when my son returns to school.

Of course he will be better over the holidays and when he gets to his new class and finally realises he has a different teacher..boy are we going to see his anxiety go through the roof.

I do understand how you feel, when you have practically banged their door down waving your 'listen there's something wrong flag' all year and now are left with the fall out from the lack of suitable measures being put in place for your child.

I wish I had a magic wand for you and my family..but I also hope others will have some good suggestions on what to do next..ring the helpline too they are excellent.
