HI my daughter is in mainstream  education and transfering in sept to secondary i'm so worried beyond believe as to how she's going to cope .She is............ asd .....she has learning difficulties,adhd,speach dyspraxia is any one else starting in september or has any one been through it ?????..................

  • Hi Filomenah,its so bad how are children are treated in mainstream ,i'm going to look into the Education rights information and give them a call ,then i shall make an appt to go into school and ask to look at there plan for olivia i know its early days but i can't just let time slip by .....i'm surprised she is doing the same work as her peers her helper is like a p.a because my daughter cant write independently yet her helper writes every thing for her what is she learning ...Not a lot ....she's not getting that sence of acheivement with out that whats the point .i hope you manage to get your daughters visual timetable sorted out ,has she got a I.E.P ?Let me know what happens take care for now xx Mel
