My Son who’s seven really needs to wear slippers but he won’t any suggestions please?
The secret to slippers is natural fibres. The feet and head are very specific to temperature regulation and petroleum-based fibres like polyesters are essentially wearing plastic.
At seven, children are still growing, so I might suggest to find pure wool felt, even marino as wool is one of the best for naturally interacting with our biology for staying at a perfect temperature. Birkenstock makes these which might be a joy to wear (and he may then need a pair to wear out of the house!) https://www.birkenstock.com/gb/zermatt-kids-felt/zermattkids-cozyhome-woolfelt-0-latex-u_6333.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=pmax&utm_campaign=evergreen-cat_GB&utm_content=Clogs&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjww_iwBhApEiwAuG6ccA9PID9zbS348DKrPfoJ8H_OCBo-XSaS-R8jQxiyV1V-icRZch8PrRoCz5sQAvD_BwE
I started to find that my son would happily do a thing which also felt slightly indulgent. So, once he was older I bought him a pair of Shepherds of Sweden and he never opts for bare feet again!
