Hi again - I can't advise on whether you should request a diagnosis for yourself - that's a personal decision. It would be a good idea to check out the posts and info on this site. There's loads of info and discussions about autism/genetics. Also discussion about the pros/cons of getting a diagnosis as an adult. I think it's a good thing that you understand your son so well.
