Getting ready for summer

What helps you in the summer. All the family love summer majority of the time except my oldest, who's autistic. She hates it.

1. How do you cope with suncream. We get burnt easily and quickly. She has her own suncream from last year which isn't too sticky but she only puts it on her face. It's the only part she can tolerate it.

2. How can we make breaking up from school at the end of the year easier. Meltdowns will last weeks leading up to it and days after.

3. Clothing. She never wears appropriate clothing. She did for a couple of weeks last year. She wore shorts. We have bought summer clothing, which she picked. But always has a jumper on due to not liking the light touch of wind. Same with joggers, she's still wearing fluffy joggers, and thermal clothes and school have reported that she is getting really hot and bothered but refuses to take them off. If her jumper is off she has it wrapped round her neck which makes her really hot too because she doesn't like anything touching her neck, not even her hair. Her clothes are also her comfort item and feels naked and very vulnerable without them. She also struggles to realise where her body is and positioned and her clothing helps her with this. So I'm not sure what to do.

Clothing is our biggest issue. If she has the right clothes, she can function and tolerate a lot more better.
