Stabilisers for an older child’s bike

Hello all,

My 10 year old son really struggles with his gross motor skills. He used to love riding his bicycle with stabilisers, but he is now far too tall for his old bike and I have been unable to find stabilisers large enough for a bike of his size. Do any of you know where I could get some from or have any suggestions, please?

  • I’ve had a look and Amazon sell them for adult bikes. EBay also have them and most probably cheaper.

    Thank you, I bought some but they were not big enough for the wheels of his hybrid bike. We went round the park yesterday and they didn’t touch the floor. He was leaning to the right the whole time until they broke. I will keep hunting..
