Apologies if this is being dealt with elsewhere on the main body of the NAS website - if it is, could a mod please provide a link to it?

This case is urgent, needs as much publicity as possible to reuinte Stephen with his father and is also a big cause for concern in case other authorities take similar action aginst other parents.

  • I thank whoever posted this: AMO. I have never heard of Stephen Neary until today, so yes, they have kept this quiet. What an absolute decimation of human rights, no-one would believe this goes on but I have worked with young people who have been detained in mental health hospitals- against their will and their parents will. I will certainly do my best to bring this to the attention of people and perhaps someone can help.   : (
