Made to sign a waiver

Hi. Today we attended a birthday party for my niece at a soft play. The kind with the big jungle gyms etc. My son who is 5, non verbal and has high functioning autism aswel as ARFID tends to pull his pants down and run about. To me this is just my little boy. He is still in nappies as he won't toilet train. We were asked to sign a waiver incase he fell and hurt himself. Admittedly I can understand but in reality I'm left questioning myself as to whether this was right. I signed it to not cause a scene for my niece but I think if I was there normally I'd ask for a refund and leave. My question really is just about wether I should have signed it or not. I watched as other kids fell over or pushed each other over and everything but my son just kept himself to himself and walked around everywhere. I'm a little torn and just want to know if in the future is have to keep doing this because honestly this is the first time.

Much love to all and our children Heart
