Hello, apologies for my late reply. I’m not the best at keeping up with messages. 

You may have already tried these suggestions…

Could your son have visual cards in school/home that show him step by step pictures of going to the toilet? Such as, close door, undo trousers to ankles, pants down to ankles, sit on toilet, wipe, pants up, trousers up, open door, wash hands.

Does the school have a separate disabled toilet? He could show the one to one his visual to show he needs support in the bathroom and then he can have access to the disabled toilet that way there won’t be a chance of him being undressed in front of other pupils.

Although it’s easy for me to say but He may also grow out of it. He’s still very young.

4 year old, he may just grow out of it.

If he/she was 14, then you would have real problems.

I once peed in the field beside the playground, in Primary School, whenever I was about 7.

I also, once, stripped naked and hit in the boot of mum's car; around the same age. I also hit in the boot of the same car, was smacking my uncle's dog, then I opened the boot, from inside, and the dog destroyed my hand. Had to go to Children's Ward the following day. (both incidents occurred on Sundays, when my mum took me to see her mum and dad)

He doesn’t do a. Number 2 at school either just a wee. It first started with him only needing to get naked when doing a poo which I thought was ok because he only did a number 2 at home and his uncles and dad does the same thing as grown adults lol. It is now he is doing it even with a wee where he does try to get naked at school as well. He is in main stream school but has a 1:1. I just want to try and stop it as it is a new thing.

Thank you for your response. He only does a number 2 at home as well since nursery Lool he holds it until home but he does one before he leaves so isn’t too bad. He is in main stream school but has funding for his 1:1. Unfortunately he cannot dress himself either so he normally runs around until I see him naked. 

I don’t have any tips but my child who will be 4 in a few weeks time also does this but only when he is doing a number 2 and he is still wearing a nappy for number 2. I believe it’s a fear of getting any poo on his clothes or it makes him go better without being restricted by clothing on his body. Hard to guess when my son can’t say why. 

My eldest child also takes bottom half of clothing fully off when going to the bathroom.

Both of my children only do the toilet at home so I don’t make a fuss over it but I can understand your concerns especially at school. 

Can he dress himself after he had taken his clothing off? Does he stay in the toilet cubicle until he has his clothing back on? Is it a mainstream school or a ASN school?
