London autism

Hi everyone I currently living in Glasgow and looking for a fresh start in London. Have a 6, year old non verbal with autism and a four year old. Any suggestions on good schools etc.

  • London is very expensive and some areas are extremely competitive for school places. I know someone who struggled to apply for school because the catchments were only 200m and she lived 400m away. That was mainstream though, a specialist school is probably more relaxed with distance. I wouldn’t look any further south than Birmingham unless you’re quite wealthy. You’d be best to Google specialist schools and make a decision about where to move to rather than choose a city then find the schools don’t meet your needs or have long waiting lists
