London is very expensive and some areas are extremely competitive for school places. I know someone who struggled to apply for school because the catchments were only 200m and she lived 400m away. That was mainstream though, a specialist school is probably more relaxed with distance. I wouldn’t look any further south than Birmingham unless you’re quite wealthy. You’d be best to Google specialist schools and make a decision about where to move to rather than choose a city then find the schools don’t meet your needs or have long waiting lists
aye one reason i mentioned birmingham. it seems to have decent support from what i can tell..... not only that id say its probably one of the better looking cities, it makes good use out of its canal system, unlike manchester which abandons its canals and makes them look like trash. manchester looks run down, london is run down and overpriced, but birmingham at least tries... and i dont like cities, but id give birmingham a chance and probs try find a flat near canal area as its canal side really is pretty nicely used and attractive.
Thanks for comments will take them all on board x
yeah the entire greater manchester region is getting spammed with housing estates, its kinda ruining the entire region tbh and turning it all into one massive city with intent of destroying every last bit of green space they can find.
Consider Manchester, it is large but not as large and soulless as London. Housing, food and drink prices are lower. Also, while Glasgow is the second wettest city in the UK, Manchester is the eighth, despite its reputation. Plus, there is a big building boom in the city - and the beer is much better than in London.
aye everyone when they think of england they think its only london.... london is the worst part of england lol the most expensive, the most ugly, and the people that live there the most rude and most likely to stab you for no reason.
It's mainly escaping love rat ex who had an affair with the nursery teacher my reason ing for escaping Scotland haha but thanks for reply I will take Birmingham into account possibly
but surely you want to stay in scotland for the independance and rejoining the EU? surely? lmao or scotland will just become another failed state everyones fleeing from to a better place.
anyways londons expensive from what i gather, studio flats cost like 1 million there. Birmingham might be better maybe.
