Advice on housing needed.

I'm wondering if my autisic 3 year old needs a bedroom of his own. At present we are living in a small 3 bedroom council house with his 2 older brothers (8 and 10) and his older sister (12).

The little one sleeps in my bed with me and my husband because he has a tendancy to wake in the night and i don't want him to disturb my boys when they have to up early for school. They also have alot of electrical equipment in their room like tv, xbox etc which the little one could break or hurt himself with and they are also good old boys and constanly make a mess, which could the little one distress.

Also i live a bit of a distance away from all my family and i real feel i need them closer now, to support us and to offer refuge when things get stressful for me my husband and the kids.

Do you think the housing would consider giving me a bigger house? It doesn't need to be a 4 bedroom, but have like a dining room that can be converted. And also will they allow me to move closer to my family?

This is all so new and confusing to me right now and i need the support of my family when my husband is working.
