Can't decide whether to de-register DD2

DD1 is already home educated and we love it. We get to learn about what she's interested in at a pace that she's comfortable with.

School isn't suiting DD2 though. We have no diagnosis for her and we know there's a long road ahead of Us. So my question is, do I follow my heart and send the de-reg letter in tomorrow and begin home schooling Caitlin with Lauren, or do I stick it out?

The school hasn't done Caitlin any favours at all. It's a free for all with no structure. It's been put in special measures by ofsted.

  • What is the age difference - that might be a factor.

I've not done home education, but if i was doing it for one and I think it would work for the other I  would do both as it gives you so much more freedom as to when you education them both.

A school is special measures is not a bad thing - once they hit special measures an enormous amount of support/ money  is put in by the local authority
