Help School trip to France/school not keen/ son aged 11 and has some issues with anger management

My son is in Year 6 and due to go to France for 5 days with his class. He has been diagnosed with autism but more towards the old Aspergers diagnosis. He mainly has issues with his anger when he doesn’t understand or things don’t go the way he expects. He is desperate to go on the trip but his school are now seeming reluctant and have suggested that a parent may have to go. We asked months ago to make sure support was in place. Has anyone dealt with a situation like this? Where do we stand etc?

  • I'm sorry about your son; sadly, he can't control his emotions. But I still do not think it is such an obvious problem, because if you are worried about him not being able to travel to France, take him to see some countries yourself. After all, it would be cool, and your son will love to visit different places of interest or admire the scenery. If I were you, I would go to Germany, because it is gorgeous there now. Especially if you travel by train, you can admire the beautiful view from your window. The main thing, always have at hand the schedule oebbfahrplan.com to be convenient.
