So my 8 year old son is diagnosed autism & ADHD. We have been on the housing register & in temporary accommodation for 3 years (at a locations approx 5 miles from his school & support network) I have 3 children in all.
I was told I could make an medical priority application but would be worse off as I would lose my 3 years Waiting that goes towards my success at bidding for properties.
My sister has a friend who has just been offered by the same council a house with garden etc... because her son is ADHD not diagnosed yet but going to be diagnosed.
i feel like the housing Have been giving me the run around all these years & leaving us in this temporary flat in a terrible location no matter what the nightmare is getting to schools, appointments & support networks.
any thoughts or advice about this?
