Guide to Education matters topic

Welcome to the area of the Community for discussions about education.

Here you'll be able to create and reply to discussions about being in education, getting support you might need for yourself or someone you care for. Don’t feel you only have to talk about the bad times, everyone would benefit from hearing about education success as well as problems.

Education doesn’t mean just school issues, feel free to talk about adult learning, University, pre-school education or casual learning.

As well as sharing your experiences here, you may also want to look at the our services that can help with education issues.

We have content that covers education issues, looking at the support available when in education and advice about dealing with bullying, along with other key topics.

We have some specific advice for teachers and other professionals working in education. It might help to print this out and show it to people you, or someone close, is being taught by.

You may want to contact our Education Rights Service where information, support and advice is provided on educational provision and entitlements.

Our Autism helpline is also available if you need to call. Tel: 0808 800 4104 (Mon-Fri, 10am - 4pm). The helpline is free from landlines and most mobiles.
