Cycling

Do you like cycling but have a friend or family member who can't?  Why not try tandeming?  We've been tandeming with our elder daughter, who has Severe Learning Difficulties and Autism, for the last 5 years, so if you would like some advice and how to borrow a tandem for free, then please contact me.

  • Hi, I got mine from Halfords as they go up to age 6, there is a shop where you can get them for older children to adults. They were more expensive £100 ish. I cant remember the site but I will have a look tonight and let you know. You can also have a look at you tube as there are some clips of ASD children with Balance Bikes.

I just feel it would be a brilliant achievement if my little one would be able to ride a NT bike without stabalisers!! I then have the safety element tho!!!!
