Cycling

Do you like cycling but have a friend or family member who can't?  Why not try tandeming?  We've been tandeming with our elder daughter, who has Severe Learning Difficulties and Autism, for the last 5 years, so if you would like some advice and how to borrow a tandem for free, then please contact me.

  • Dear WelshMum,

If you are going want to ride on the road and your daughter doesn't learn to ride the bike then tag-a-longs are readily available and cheap and would be suitable up to about 8 or 9 year olds.  Beyond that tandems are the way to go and I have a number available to borrow for free.
