Anger and anxiety

I have aspergers syndrome and suffer a lot with anger and anxiety now when i have moments when i am feeling angry or anxious it makes me feel like i want to sit in a pitch black room however i dont have a pitch black room is there anything i could use to sort of help me with what it makes me want to do

    I have a teenage son who is autistic , epileptic and he has severe learning disability . His neurologist has suggested the drug Risperidone to help with his agressive behaviour . I'm very worried about the side effects my son may develop if given this drug and I am concerned about how this may affect his overall personality and health. 

    Can anyone offer any advice or comment on their experience on the use of Risperidone .
