Piggle made a nest

Fed up today. Both boys back in school;..very reluctantly and already we are dealing with meltdowns on the way home:(

Next week I met and ed psychologist, have school meeting and see the mental health team about my anxiety...am making note to self that less meeting would me less anxiety for me and I need to work on this.

Am wearing a very hairy jumper today as my dog Piggle made a nest in it last night when she was frightened by the gale force winds...am seriously considering going back to bed .

  • Glad the meeting went well and the new person sounds a good one. I hope you are still making progress and it's not too stressful to cope with?

Had a very fruitless meeting at school last week, apparently it's only me who has a problem with my son...sigh..then in complete contradiction to this I had a list of issues O had done that shouted loud and clear he wasn't coping in school either. School are very blinkered to what really constitutes a problem and I left terribly frustrated.

O had his initial appointment at the ASD team today but as the school haven't yet submitted their report we are none the wiser as to whether he will be considered for a full assessment. The people we saw were very nice and explained that they want to make sure O isn't suffering purely from stress due to his hospital admittances, which could make him appear asd or whether he has asd and stress together. I wish them luck picking through that minefield and don't envy them the task.

Ah well onwards and sidewards once more.

Hello to you all down south and sorry I haven't written too regularly lately but it's asthma season once more and it's been problematic (laughs and shakes head).
