What do I do with a 15 year old with Aspergers?

Hi, I have a lovely 7 years old son, who happens to be Aspergers among many other things. We moved from abroad 2 years ago and I would like to help him strengthening his personal relationships. Socializing is not one of his many virtues, so any support group or ASD friendly activity where to get confident and be himself among other children would be very positive for him.

Do you know any option close to Cambridge? or where could I dig for information please?

Hello, I have a 15 year old boy with Aspergers and Anxiety. We found out this back in August, but not much has been done about it yet. He see's a concillor and has home tutoring, but really wants to socialize and have some friends. The problem is that he gets anxious very easily. We asked for help at our city care center, but all they have done at the moment is refer me to this website.

I looked on the directery thing to see if there were any support groups for him or anything, but most of them were aimed for either adults or younger children, but the ones who do offer support are very hard to get hold of. We live near the Peterborough area if you are wandering.

What do I do?

Thank you Sofie for the link to social skills - my 12 yo son with Aspergers is struggling to form and maintain friendships at secondary school.  I will take careful note of suggestions on the link, to help him.
