Wanted: Aspies aged 17 or there abouts (18-22). Anybody out there?

Hiya,

I'm Katie and I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome aged 17.

I've been bouncing around the forum a while and so far I've only found adults, but I'd really like to find other Aspie's my age to talk to, you know, usual stuff, hobbies, how strange normal people are, and preferably if you've gone to uni/started uni I'd love it if you could let me know how you got on and what to expect.

Cheers.

    There are no PMs here!

I'm a 19yo student, I'm not on the spectrum myself but having had several friends who were, I can identify with it completely! I'm the students with disabilities officer for a students' union with 26,000 members.

You're all welcome to let me know if you've got any specific questions!

Hiya, yeah right now a Community is a very new thing for the NAS and there is concern about privacy and safety for anyone who might be using the forum.

So, for that reason, right now we don't allow the sharing of personal details or private messages. That's likely to be a decision that we'll continually review but sorry, it is the way it is right now during the early days of the Community.
