Wanted: Aspies aged 17 or there abouts (18-22). Anybody out there?

Hiya,

I'm Katie and I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome aged 17.

I've been bouncing around the forum a while and so far I've only found adults, but I'd really like to find other Aspie's my age to talk to, you know, usual stuff, hobbies, how strange normal people are, and preferably if you've gone to uni/started uni I'd love it if you could let me know how you got on and what to expect.

Cheers.

  • Wow, people. XD

Hey! Nice to see you joining the convo!

Cheers for the support Hagrid, managed to get a conditional offer from the Uni a day after the interview, meaning I only need to get 220 tariff points (Easy ;D) to get enrolled.

Hi Blimey, whats a PM? And its nice to see a uni student here, do you live on campus or at home? Hows uni life? Funny how school loads you up with so much info that doesn't acutally help. xD

ThinkabilitySuSu theres a union that looks out for us? Any info would be great! All I've essentially been told is about my course, that theres dyslexia support that can be adapeted to help me and that I shouldn't be afraid of fees, no ones mention unions.

Its great to see people taking an interest, thanks again all for posting!
