Wanted: Aspies aged 17 or there abouts (18-22). Anybody out there?

Hiya,

I'm Katie and I've been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome aged 17.

I've been bouncing around the forum a while and so far I've only found adults, but I'd really like to find other Aspie's my age to talk to, you know, usual stuff, hobbies, how strange normal people are, and preferably if you've gone to uni/started uni I'd love it if you could let me know how you got on and what to expect.

  • Thats where i'm lucky.  ive known that i wanted to be involved with films since i was much younger, i just wasn't sure wht.  thats why i took a course which deals with a small bit of everything so i could make an informed decision and find what i really enjoyed.  hopefully i will obtain my HND at Ayr college which because it works so closely with the UWS which is right next door you get an instant acceptance.  maybe there is something like that near you
